The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend HK$HK$26,900 (approximately US$3,450) to each awardee for up to three years. PolyU achieves 66th in the QS World University Ranking 2022 and 51st in Linguistics in QS World University Ranking by Subject 2021. We invite students with academic excellence and are interested in conducting cutting-edge research in our research areas to apply.

In this research programme, the student explores the methodology of Second Language Teaching (SLT) and supports it with many examples. It presents new directions for the English Language Teaching (ELT) program, describing innovative pedagogical methods and consistent ideas that lead to success in this field. The curriculum should cover all key issues for effective ELT practice.

The purpose of this work is to prepare highly qualified teachers and researchers in Turkology, especially in Turkic linguistics and literature. The course includes training of specialists, transcribing all the written monuments of Turkic languages from ancient times to the present, the training of researchers in historical Turkic dialects.
