Introduction
The Advanced Studies in Geostrategic and Geopolitical Studies (PhD) program offers an extensive definition of the international arena, with methodological work research, as well as a clear concept of change in the complex modern world of today. The program seeks to develop the capacity of research and critical analysis with a very high level of expertise.
The courses are taught by professors and researchers from higher education, prominent figures from the scientific and diplomatic community, and highly qualified experts from senior positions in major international companies.
The offering of this program in geopolitics and geostrategy, leading to a PhD, aims to guide students towards academic careers, and expert roles within major international public institutions or private organizations, and to prepare them for various Category A civil service exams in international public service, particularly for diplomatic careers.
This degree also allows professionals already working in the fields of geostrategy and geopolitics to benefit from in-depth training and specialization tailored to their professional status.

Admissions
Curriculum
It includes scientific supervision, provided by the Research Director as well as by the Research Unit that welcomes the student and provides support. During the three years of the program, students are supervised by a thesis supervisor and integrated into the Academy's research centre. Students must also attend at least three doctoral seminars, one of which is necessarily outside the program of their mention. During the first year of the doctorate, the researcher will have to follow 3 seminars:
- Two mandatory seminars:
- the seminars provided by the Academy’s research centre
- A research training seminar intended to help the student to write his thesis
- A specialized seminar has to be chosen with the agreement of the research director
The Certificate of higher degree IN GEOSTRATEGIC AND GEOPOLITICAL STUDIES (PhD) is issued at the end of this learning and the defence of the thesis before a jury of professors of the Academy and other personalities.
