Part time PhD Programs in Global Healthcare 2020/2021
The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!). That said, PhD recipients are able to engage in thought experiments, reason about problems, and solve problems in sophisticated ways.
The field of global health is one which focuses on improving the physical and mental health conditions of people around the world. Topics of study may include community health, sociology of health and illness, public health, psychological factors in global health, leadership development, and health systems management.
